Marketplace terms

Conditions générales

The commercial framework between buyers, approved sellers and the FitYourself marketplace where checkout is available.

Seller identified

Business identity and the essential offer are presented before payment.

Mandatory rights preserved

Platform or seller terms cannot remove non-excludable consumer protections.

Safety documentation

Sellers remain responsible for compliant products, warnings, traceability and corrective action.

Marketplace roles

FitYourself provides discovery, listing, account, order and support technology unless expressly identified as the seller. The independent seller is responsible for its product or service offer, contract performance, invoices, delivery, conformity, warranty and statutory remedies.

Trader verification and listing integrity

Business sellers must provide accurate identity and contact information and evidence reasonably required for verification. Approval may be suspended if information expires, cannot be verified or presents a safety, fraud or legal risk.

  • No misleading identity, qualifications, compatibility or availability claims
  • No unsafe, recalled, counterfeit, stolen or prohibited goods
  • No undisclosed commercial communications or manipulated reviews
  • Prompt cooperation with notices, recalls, authorities and affected customers

Product information and compatibility

Listings must describe the main characteristics, total price, seller, delivery, material compatibility limits, included parts, warnings and legally required manufacturer or responsible-person information. Vehicle selection is a decision aid, not a substitute for checking VIN, dimensions, variant and installation instructions.

Order formation

The checkout summary allows the buyer to review and correct input before submitting an order. Acknowledgement of receipt is not necessarily seller acceptance. The seller terms and confirmation explain when the contract forms and what happens if stock, price or verification information is materially wrong.

Prices, taxes and payment

The payable total is disclosed before order submission. Currency conversion, import charges not collected at checkout and any recurring seller fee must be explained before commitment. Sellers must provide tax documents where required.

Delivery, cancellation and returns

The Shipping and Returns policies form part of these terms. Consumers retain applicable rights for delivery, distance-sale cancellation, conformity, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Lawful exceptions must be clear and interpreted narrowly.

Product safety, recalls and corrective action

Sellers must supply safe products, required warnings and traceability information, and cooperate with recalls or other corrective action. FitYourself may restrict a listing, notify affected users or preserve records where reasonably necessary for safety and legal compliance.

Buyer responsibilities

Buyers must provide accurate delivery and contact information, review compatibility evidence, follow installation and safety instructions, use qualified specialists for regulated or safety-critical work and avoid reselling a product known to be unsafe. These duties do not remove seller liability or mandatory rights.

Seller fees, commission and payouts

Subscription, verification, commission, reserves, refunds, chargebacks, taxes and payout timing are governed by the seller agreement and payment-provider rules. Material restrictions and ranking or suspension terms must be communicated to business users as required by applicable platform law.

Complaints and dispute resolution

Start with the seller and then use marketplace escalation. Consumers may also use a competent ADR body, regulator or court where applicable. Governing-law terms do not deprive consumers of mandatory protections available in their habitual country of residence.
